The Talent Pass Scheme aims to attract high-end talent with rich work experience and strong academic qualifications to Hong Kong. Key features include:
- No requirement to have a job lined up before applying.
- Eligibility for three categories of applicants:
- Annual income of HK$2.5 million or above in the last year.
- Graduates from top universities with at least 3 years of work experience in the past 5 years.
- Graduates from top universities with less than 3 years of work experience in the past 5 years. (subject to annual quota)
- Initial stay of 24 months, with the option to apply for extension.
- Application processing time of generally 4 weeks after submission of all required documents.
